Raj Haveli is a magnificent mansion built by traditional artisans in Samod village and stands as a unique example of Rajasthani art. Located on Chomu-Ajitgarh Road, amidst the Aravalli hills, this haveli was personally designed and carved by the renowned local craftsman, Gulab Chand Karigar, which gives it a distinct identity even today.

Along with this, the family has also made an important contribution to the handicraft art seen in Samod Palace and many other palaces and temples. Raj Haveli is a major attraction for tourists visiting Samod.

The haveli features Jaipur-style chhatris (umbrellas/canopies), Rajasthani-style paintings, and even a small Sheesh Mahal, which add to its beauty and cultural value. Shri Gulabchand Ji Ghodela inherited this art from his ancestors, and even today many members of his family continue this tradition by creating wall paintings in hotels, palaces, bungalows, and temples.

In addition, they still paint traditional Rajasthani artwork on paper and canvas. The colours used in their paintings are natural stone colours, which further reflect the authenticity of their artistic heritage.
